Our company secretarial services may be summarized as follows:
- Company and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP) incorporations
- Registration of businesses
- Establishment of representative offices, foreign branch offices and trusts and foundations
- Application of licenses, permits and registration with the relevant authorities
- Maintenance of companies’ statutory records as required by the Companies Act, 2016

Chen Yen Mooi | Executive Director
Chen Yen Mooi, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She graduated from London in 1985 and began her career as company secretary in the commercial sector before joining PFA Corporate Services Sdn Bhd (“PFA”) in 1988. Yen Mooi stayed on course and following a
series of mergers and acquisitions, formally retired in December 2009 after the successful integration of PFA and Tricor Malaysia Group of Companies.
Yen Mooi worked her way up through file and rank within the PFA Group. She led a team of 45 professionally qualified company secretaries on secretarial compliance services that also included applications to various governmental authorities/local bodies for the Group’s portfolio of over 3,000 corporate clients before her
retirement from Tricor Malaysia.
We are happy to have Yen Mooi with her passion and vast experience of the industry, joined us to head the Secretarial practice at GMT Group.
Chang Pie Hoon | Executive Director
Chang Pie Hoon, is an Associate of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA). She began her career in the corporate secretarial profession with Kemas Management Services Sdn Bhd in 1984. She left the management services company in 1988 and joined PFA Corporate Services Sdn Bhd (“PFA”) which was associated with Deloitte Kassim Chan. She was with PFA for 7 years, providing corporate secretarial services to companies which included multinationals, public companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and private limited companies.
To obtain exposure in the commercial sector, she joined DRB-HICOM Group in 1995 providing corporate secretarial services and served as Company Secretary for the group of companies, which included DRBHICOM Berhad, HICOM Holdings Berhad and Gadek Malaysia Berhad. She left to join Tan Chong Group in 2006 and held several positions, including that as Head of Group Secretarial Department and Company Secretary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, prior to joining GMT Capital Sdn Bhd in January 2019.
Pie Hoon brings with her nearly 40 years of exposure and experience in corporate secretarial and compliance work. In addition, she has also been exposed in mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring exercises, flotation of companies on the stock exchange, fund-raising exercises, Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and liaison with Investment Bankers.
Ena Beh | Senior Associate Director
Ena Beh, is an Associate of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) from 1998 till 2010, prior to her sabbatical. Her commitment to the profession saw her re-connected to the field by joining GMT Group in 2020.
She began her career in the corporate secretarial profession with Professional Secretarial Services Sdn Bhd in 1993. She left the management services company in 1998 and joined INFORMATICS Education Group of Companies (currently known as BERJAYA University College) for 7 years, providing corporate secretarial services and served as Company Secretary for the Berjaya group of companies.
To gain further exposure in other industries aside from the education sector, she then joined TAHA Insurance (M) Berhad (currently known as Great Eastern Life Malaysia) in 2005 and served as Company Secretary cum Personal Assistant to their Chief Executive Officer.
She brings with her over 20 years of experience in corporate secretarial and compliance work. In addition, she has also been involved in registrations/applications for franchise, trademark, work permit and licenses from various local authorities/statutory bodies.
Nur Shazwani Shaharuddin | Associate Director
Nur Shazwani (Wani) holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from UiTM and a Professional Diploma in Corporate Administration from the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She is qualified License Secretary (LS) from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and currently pursuing the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme to become an associate of MAICSA.
Wani is instrumental in setting up and ensuring the smooth process of running, maintaining and supporting the entire Secretarial Division. She plays an extensive role in performing daily Company Secretary’s duties/assignments which, amongst others, include reduction in capital exercises, applications for winding up of companies, preparation of statutory documents and instruments required under the Companies Act 2016.
She bridges the gap between various local authorities/organisations to ensure various company secretarial/legal aspects are taken care of in respect of registration/application for licences. Wani is also involved in conducting related research services for the Group’s clients.

Nur Shazwani (Wani), is a holder of the Professional Diploma in Corporate Administration from the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) and is currently pursuing to become an Associate of MAICSA. She began her career in the secretarial profession with Info-Search Consultancy Sdn Bhd in 2005 as a Secretarial Assistant and left the consultancy firm in 2011. Since then, she has been with GMT Capital Sdn Bhd.

Alexandria Low Su-yin | Secretarial Executive
Alexandria Low Su-Yin, is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), and Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting. She has more than 10 years of experience in accounting, corporate secretarial services and tax compliance.
